Every project begins with your story. Our design process is rooted in understanding how you live, work, and connect with your surroundings. From concept to completion, we approach each space with curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to balance beauty with purpose.

1. Discovery
We begin by getting to know you and the space — its architecture, flow, and potential. Through thoughtful conversation and site analysis, we uncover the needs, values and emotions that will shape the design direction. This stage includes a survey as well as an in-depth conversation with the client and a site walk-through, if possible. A budget will need to be established at this point - we can help you understand and form a reasonable budget.

2. Concept Development
Guided by your vision, we translate ideas into a cohesive design concept. In this stage, Viajera Designs will present mood boards, physical material samples and general layouts that capture the aesthetic and functional intent of the project. Ideally, we would begin working alongside the contractor to make sure all ideas are feasible within the budget.

3. Design Detailing
Once the concept is refined, we develop detailed plans and visualizations. In this stage the client will review renderings, floor plans and elevations alongside the mood boards and physical samples. Every finish, fixture, and furnishing is considered for its form, texture, and contribution to the overall narrative of the space.

4. Implementation
During the build and installation phase, we collaborate closely with contractors, architects, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure the design is executed with precision. At this stage, we would be ordering furnishings, unpacking and reviewing them as they arrive and facilitating safe storage of all pieces until final installation. Viajera Designs has established relationships with artisans all over the world and we thoroughly enjoy designing handmade, custom pieces that become a conversation piece.

5. Styling & Completion
The final layer brings everything to life — styling with art, objects and textiles that reflect personality and depth. The result is a space that feels effortlessly tailored, timeless, and truly yours. Each project is unique in it’s complexity and process. We would love to speak further regarding your project.
